Timeless Traditional

A traditional home with some transitional finishes mixed in is what these clients had in mind for their 4,500 square foot brick and cast stone home. A turret with a custom iron staircase was on the list of must-haves for the family of four, and having all of the active space located on the first floor with private spaces on the second floor was another driving force in the design. Off of the kitchen is a game room large enough for a pool table and connected to a home theatre room complete with a projector TV.

While the home was under construction the family visited Italy and brought home several pieces of Murano glass for fixtures as well as inspiration for the hand glazed and waxed ceiling detail in the dining room. This house merges classic and contemporary in all the right ways, creating harmony as you walk from room to room.
