Every Monday we received an e-mail from Jennifer with the summary of the prior week’s progress, what we could expect during the coming week and a list of decisions we would need to make. Jennifer would provide a list of stores, websites and existing homes to drive by and see how things looked. Sometimes things look good on paper but may be impractical in reality, or on the flip side may be cheap but actually look really good.

We always got a good balance and reaction from the interaction between Jennifer, Mike, and us. Mike is the ultra-practical guy with function over form, and Jennifer was the good balance between form, function and value. The counterbalance perspective was critical for us getting the best looking, most practical and affordable house possible.

We added almost 1,000 square feet to our second story, including two bathrooms, a master closet, a bedroom and a family/game room. The project was completed on time (4 months in total), on budget (the few items that went over estimate were of our own choosing), and most importantly was incredibly high quality. Jennifer and Mike deliver their work with a very personal touch - they were on site daily and always reachable by cell phone.
